Anthropic Brings Its Full Claude Platform to Google Cloud in New Managed Offering

Anthropic has made its full Claude developer platform generally available on Google Cloud, giving enterprises a new way to build with its AI models. The service, called Claude Models on Google Cloud (Anthropic managed), launched on October 22 and lets customers access Claude through their existing Google Cloud credentials, billing and commitments.

Under the new setup, Google Cloud IAM controls access and Google Cloud Marketplace handles billing, while Anthropic operates the stack and acts as the data processor. Customers get the complete Claude Platform feature set, including Claude Managed Agents (in beta), skills, code execution, document uploads and web search, with new features arriving the same day they launch on Anthropic's own platform.

The launch includes day-zero access to the latest models, including Claude Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5, plus fast mode for Opus 5.5. It sits alongside Google's existing Google-managed Claude option for customers who need Google to be their data processor. The move deepens the Anthropic-Google partnership as both companies race to make their AI tools easier for businesses to buy and run at scale.
