Brunson Scores 38 as Knicks Erase 19-Point Deficit to Beat Bulls 133-127

Jalen Brunson scored 38 points as the New York Knicks fought back from 19 points down to beat the Chicago Bulls 133-127 in a thrilling finish on Wednesday night. The Knicks trailed for much of the game and looked in trouble before storming back in the second half, finally sealing the win in the closing seconds.
Chicago had a chance to force overtime, but a 28-foot three-pointer for the tie with 10.1 seconds left missed, Brunson split two free throws, and OG Anunoby's pair with 1.7 seconds remaining closed the game out. The Bulls shot well all night, hitting 48 per cent from the field and 18 of 42 three-pointers, but New York won the battle on the boards 50-39. Josh Giddey finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists for the Bulls, while Jalen Smith added 17 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks. New York's bench proved decisive, and former Bull Derrick Rose, in the building on the 18th anniversary of his NBA debut, received a standing ovation from the crowd.
