Cowboys vs Eagles Tonight: Monday Night Football Showdown as NFC East Race Tightens

Dallas visits Philadelphia on Monday Night Football tonight, with both teams sitting at 2-4 and desperate for a win to stay alive in the NFC East. Kickoff is at 8:15 PM Eastern Time at Lincoln Financial Field, live on ESPN and ABC. The winner climbs to 3-4 with a divisional victory, while the loser falls three games below .500 with the season approaching its midpoint, and the New York Giants already leading the division at 4-2-1.
Philadelphia is badly shorthanded. The Eagles will be without their top two wide receivers, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, and quarterback Jalen Hurts remains on injured reserve after a diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary emboli. Tanner McKee leads the offence instead, with star running back Saquon Barkley questionable through a hamstring injury despite taking a full part in Saturday's practice. Tight end Dallas Goedert has been cleared to play after knee inflammation.
Dallas has its own problems. Quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown four interceptions across the Cowboys' last two defeats, and the offence must find consistency to avoid slipping to 2-5. There is at least one boost: wide receiver George Pickens is off the injury report after a shoulder problem and has been Dallas's brightest spark in recent weeks. The Cowboys also welcome back linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant for a defence that has struggled all season.
