Gold Rate Today in Pakistan: 24K at Rs 422,900 per Tola, Down Rs 1,500

The gold rate in Pakistan today, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, is Rs 422,900 per tola for 24-karat gold on the Karachi Sarafa Bazaar board, down Rs 1,500 from yesterday's Rs 424,400. The board, posted at 5:00 a.m. PKT, puts 22-karat gold — the standard for most jewellery in Pakistan — at Rs 387,700 per tola, 21-karat at Rs 370,000 and 18-karat at Rs 317,200.
In smaller weights, 24-karat gold costs Rs 36,257 per gram and Rs 362,575 for 10 grams, while 22-karat gold is Rs 33,237 per gram. The board rate is worked out from the international spot price — about $4,007.60 per troy ounce — converted at the open-market dollar rate of Rs 279.71, plus a local Sarafa premium of Rs 2,500 per tola. One tola equals 11.6638 grams.
Gold has cooled over the past month: the 24-karat rate is down about 3 percent in 30 days from an average near Rs 435,000, though it is still up strongly over the past year. City boards across Pakistan generally follow Karachi, with local shops typically quoting Rs 100 to Rs 500 above the benchmark before making charges. Buyers should confirm the day's rate with their local sarafa shop before any purchase, as making charges and taxes are added on top.
