Gold Rate Today in Pakistan: 24K Gold at Rs 423,436 per Tola on October 27

The gold rate today in Pakistan stands at Rs 423,436 per tola for 24K gold, up Rs 1,400 from the previous day, according to the latest rate issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The 24K rate works out to about Rs 363,028 per 10 grams and roughly Rs 36,303 per gram, while 22K gold is around Rs 388,150 per tola and 21K about Rs 370,507 per tola. Silver also edged up, reaching Rs 5,878 per tola, up Rs 20.

The rise follows a stronger international market, where gold traded at around $4,009 per ounce, up $14 on the day. Local rates track the global price converted into rupees, so moves in the world market and the exchange rate show up quickly on sarafa bazaar boards across Pakistan. Other city boards quoted slightly different figures during the day, with Karachi rates in the Rs 423,300 to Rs 423,900 range for 24K, a normal gap between markets and updates.

Buyers should remember that the per-tola rate is only the metal price. Jewellers add making charges on finished pieces, and the final shop price can differ from the board rate, so it is worth comparing making charges and buy-back terms before buying. Investment buyers usually prefer 24K bars or high-purity gold, while most everyday jewellery in Pakistan is made in 21K or 22K.
