Gold Rate Today in Pakistan: Rs419,200 per Tola as Gold Bounces Back

The gold rate in Pakistan rose on Monday, with 24-karat gold up Rs1,200, or 0.29%, to Rs419,200 per tola, according to the Sarafa association. The rate stood at Rs418,000 per tola on Saturday, the lowest level of the past 30 trading days.
Per 10 grams, 24K gold is now Rs359,402, while 22K gold — the purity most commonly used for jewellery — is Rs384,267 per tola. Silver is selling at Rs6,207 per tola. A week ago, 24K gold was Rs432,200 per tola, so the metal is still down Rs13,000 over the week despite Monday's gain.
The small rebound follows a firmer start to the week for international gold after last week's steep fall, helped by easing oil prices and falling US Treasury yields, which took some strength out of the dollar. Traders remain cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy meeting on October 27–28, which could set the direction for gold in the coming weeks.
