Gold Rate Today: Price Falls Rs 900 to Rs 434,536 Per Tola in Pakistan

The gold rate in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, October 21, as international prices slipped. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs 900 to Rs 434,536. The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 772 to Rs 372,544.
The decline follows a sharper fall on Tuesday, when the per-tola rate dropped Rs 3,600 to Rs 435,436. In the international market, gold declined by $9 to $4,120 per ounce. Silver prices also edged lower on Wednesday, with the per-tola rate falling Rs 27 to Rs 6,207.
Gold has been on a remarkable run this year, repeatedly touching record highs as investors sought safety amid global uncertainty. The back-to-back daily falls may give some relief to buyers ahead of the wedding season, when demand for gold jewelry traditionally rises in Pakistan. Traders say the market is watching the international trend closely, as local prices closely track global movements. The APGJSA announces fresh rates every working day.
