Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto VI is just 26 days away from its November 19 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the hype machine is in full gear. Players who pre-order digitally can start downloading from November 12 — Rockstar hasn't confirmed the final file size, but fans are being advised to clear around 150GB of space. Boxed copies will contain download codes rather than discs.

The price structure is set: $79.99 for the standard edition (£69.99 in the UK, €79.99 in Europe) and $99.99 for the Ultimate edition, with a Vintage Vice City Pack bonus for pre-orders running until November 20. And this week gave fans something new to dissect — IGN reported that GTA 6's first 90-second television spot has been spotted, with three shower shots trimmed, several scenes extended, and notably no Xbox branding.

According to Sensor Tower, the game has already pulled in roughly 6.45 million pre-orders worth around $630 million, with 74% of them on PlayStation 5. Set in the Florida-inspired state of Leonida with a map roughly twice the size of GTA 5's, the game follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos and is rated M for mature. It will run at 30 frames per second on consoles — and there is still no PC version announced for launch.
