GTA VI Price, Pre-Orders and Release Date: 23 Days to Launch on November 19

Grand Theft Auto VI is now just 23 days from launch, and the final countdown is well underway. Rockstar's biggest game in more than a decade arrives on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, set in the fictional state of Leonida with Vice City as its main city and a story following criminal couple Jason and Lucia.

The price is already fixed: $79.99 for the Standard Edition in the US, or £69.99 in the UK and €79.99 in Europe, with the Ultimate Edition at $99.99, £89.99 and €99.99. Pre-orders have been open since June 25, digital buyers can pre-load from November 12, and anyone who buys before November 20 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack bonus. No edition offers early access, and Rockstar has still not confirmed a PC version.

Demand looks enormous. Market firm Sensor Tower estimates more than 6.45 million digital pre-orders as of October 20, worth roughly $630 million — an estimate, not an official Rockstar figure — with about 74 percent of those on PlayStation 5. Review copies are reportedly going out by the end of October, so expect verdicts just before launch day.

Netflix made more money than Wall Street expected last quarter — but investors cared more about where growth is heading, and the streaming giant's stock slipped after hours on Tuesday.
