NBA Games Tonight: Luka Doncic's Lakers Host Steph Curry's Warriors in 11-Game Wednesday Slate

The NBA's 2026-27 season explodes into life on Wednesday night with an 11-game slate headlined by the Golden State Warriors visiting the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena — the first Lakers opener of the post-LeBron James era.
Tip-off is set for 10 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the Lakers installed as 6.5-point home favorites. James left Los Angeles for Philadelphia in free agency, and the Lakers have been rebuilt around Luka Doncic, who arrived alongside new center Walker Kessler, Quentin Grimes and Collin Sexton. Stephen Curry leads a Warriors side missing Kristaps Porzingis, Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody through injury.
The rest of the night's schedule: Hawks at Magic (7 p.m. ET), Bucks at Wizards (7), Timberwolves at Heat (7:30) — where Anthony Edwards debuts alongside newly acquired LaMelo Ball against Giannis Antetokounmpo's Miami — Hornets at Nets (7:30), Bulls at Raptors (7:30), Pacers at Pelicans (8), Jazz at Grizzlies (8), Mavericks at Rockets (8:30), Suns at Trail Blazers (10) and Kings at Clippers (10:30).
The league is also tracking the season returns of Kawhi Leonard and Tyrese Haliburton as opening week unfolds across the country.
