NBA Tonight: Nets vs Celtics, Pistons vs Knicks, Kings vs Spurs, Trail Blazers vs Lakers

Four NBA games tip off tonight, Tuesday, October 27, headlined by the league's only unbeaten-versus-unbeaten clash as the Portland Trail Blazers visit the Los Angeles Lakers. The night opens with Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics at TD Garden and Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, both starting at 11:30pm GMT, followed by Sacramento Kings vs San Antonio Spurs at midnight GMT and Portland Trail Blazers vs LA Lakers at 2am GMT at Crypto.com Arena.

The late game is the one to watch. Portland arrive 2-0 and the Lakers 3-0, with Luka Doncic coming off a 52-point outing and averaging 34.3 points through three games. Portland will be without Shaedon Sharpe, who is out with a meniscus problem, while Scoot Henderson is a game-time decision. The Lakers' shooting from deep has been a big early weapon, but Portland's rebounding edge could keep the game close deep into the fourth quarter.

Elsewhere, Boston will look to build on a fast start in front of their home crowd against a Brooklyn side still finding its rhythm, while Detroit's trip to New York and Sacramento's visit to San Antonio both offer early-season measuring sticks. With only four games on the slate, every result tonight will move the early standings — and the Lakers-Blazers winner will be the league's last unbeaten team standing on the night.
