OpenAI's GPT Models Are Coming to Google Cloud and Antigravity

OpenAI's frontier AI models are coming to Google Cloud, in a deal that makes Google the only major cloud provider offering Gemini, Claude and OpenAI models on a single platform. The company confirmed the agreement on October 21: enterprise customers will be able to buy OpenAI models through Google Cloud's model garden via the Google Cloud Marketplace in the coming weeks.
For Google Cloud customers with spend commitments, charges will run through a single bill - letting them use OpenAI's models, expected to include GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol, without a separate contract. The models will also arrive in Google's Antigravity coding tool and Gemini Agent. Google Cloud's model garden already hosts Anthropic's Claude models alongside Google's own Gemini models.
'We are focused on giving customers a broad selection of models, including those from OpenAI, so they can choose the right model for any given job,' said Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian. The move shows how quickly AI model distribution has become a cloud-platform battleground, with customers wanting one place to compare and run rival models.
