Pakistan Wear Pink Against England in Lahore ODI for Breast Cancer Awareness

Pakistan are wearing pink jerseys for their tri-series one-day international against England in Lahore on Sunday, October 25, as part of a breast cancer awareness initiative. The Pakistan Cricket Board and Pink Ribbon have joined hands for the cause, with special signed shirts from stars including Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam going up for auction, and the proceeds supporting treatment for those who cannot afford it.

The match itself carries plenty at stake. Pakistan are looking to seal their place in the final with a third consecutive win in the tri-series, while England, having lost two out of two, are in a near must-win situation. Pakistan won the previous clash between the two teams by 87 runs, despite England's Harry Brook recording the fastest double century in the series.

Pink Day has become a familiar sight in Pakistan cricket — the team observed it last year during a T20I series against South Africa — and Sunday's game blends the cause with a contest that could decide who reaches the Lahore final on October 31.
