Petrol Price in Pakistan: Petrol at Rs379.25, Diesel at Rs395.82 From October 27

Pakistan has raised fuel prices from Tuesday, October 27, with petrol now costing Rs379.25 per litre and high-speed diesel Rs395.82 per litre. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced the revision on Monday under the federal government's petroleum pricing mechanism, citing shifts in international benchmarks and related costs.

Petrol rises by Rs1.54 per litre, from Rs377.71, while diesel climbs Rs2.16 per litre, from Rs393.66. The new ex-depot rates take effect from October 27. Brent crude fell $2.03 to $114.70 a barrel and US benchmark WTI dropped $2.60 to $100.71, according to the announcement, even as domestic pump prices moved higher.

Fuel prices are watched closely across Pakistan because they feed directly into transport fares, food prices and the cost of running businesses and farms. The increase lands in the same week the State Bank raised its policy rate to 12 percent, adding to the pressure on household budgets. The government revises fuel prices regularly, and the next adjustment will be watched for any relief if global crude prices keep falling.
