Petrol Price in Pakistan Today: Petrol Cut to Rs376.06, Diesel Up to Rs398.07

Petrol is cheaper in Pakistan from today, Wednesday, 28 October 2026, while diesel has gone up. Under the latest daily revision, the ex-depot price of petrol has been cut by Rs3.19 a litre to Rs376.06, and high-speed diesel has been raised by Rs2.25 a litre to Rs398.07, with the new rates effective from midnight. Both figures appear in OGRA's price publication for 28 October and were reported by The Express Tribune and Geo News.
The cut is the first for petrol since 23 October, when it was lowered by Rs1.60 a litre, and it follows a day in which both fuels were raised — petrol by Rs1.54 and diesel by Rs2.16 for 27 October. For drivers, the change is small but real: filling a 50-litre petrol tank now costs about Rs159.50 less than yesterday, while a 50-litre diesel fill costs about Rs112.50 more.
Pakistan has been repricing fuel every morning since July 2026, so today's rates can move again soon. The published prices include the Rs9.98 dealer margin but exclude secondary freight, the cost of moving fuel from depots to pumps, which can cause small differences at individual stations. With Jamaat-e-Islami planning to resume its Islamabad march in mid-November over the petroleum levy, fuel prices are set to stay high on the political agenda in the weeks ahead.
