Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors Final Score: Booker Drops 43 as Suns Win 131-122

The Phoenix Suns beat the Golden State Warriors 131-122 at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, powered by a 43-point night from Devin Booker. Booker added seven rebounds and seven assists as Phoenix shot 58 percent from the field and piled up 33 assists against the Warriors' 24.
Golden State led 25-22 after the first quarter, but Phoenix took the second 35-29 to lead 57-54 at halftime, then broke the game open with a 45-point third quarter to carry a 102-92 advantage into the fourth. The Warriors won the final quarter 30-29, but never got closer than the final nine-point margin. Yaxel Lendeborg led Golden State with 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a losing cause.
The win came in front of 17,071 fans in Phoenix and underlined how dangerous the Suns look when Booker is scoring at this rate, with the offence flowing through his shot-making and playmaking in equal measure. For the Warriors, the defeat is an early-season warning: they shot just 45 percent from the field and were out-assisted by nine, numbers that rarely win games on the road in the NBA. Both teams now turn to their next fixtures as the young season's standings begin to take shape.
