Pistons vs 76ers Score: Cunningham's 26 Leads Detroit to 106-93 Win as Unbeaten Pistons Hand 76ers First Loss

Cade Cunningham scored 26 points with eight rebounds and eight assists as the Detroit Pistons stayed unbeaten, beating the Philadelphia 76ers 106-93 on Sunday night at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. Detroit led wire-to-wire, opening the game on a 15-1 run and stretching the lead to 56-35 in the second quarter, and Philadelphia never led at any point on the night.

The 76ers, playing the second night of a back-to-back, cut the gap to 56-44 by halftime after LeBron James powered through a late run, and they got within five early in the third quarter. But Cunningham answered with two straight three-pointers, Detroit carried a 79-69 lead into the fourth, and every time Philadelphia threatened again, the Pistons had a reply. Duncan Robinson's three-pointer restored a 10-point cushion with 7:38 left, and Daniss Jenkins' three with 1:03 remaining sealed the win.

Robinson finished with 21 points, Jenkins added 18, and John Collins had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Detroit, which improved to 3-0 despite missing starters Jalen Duren, out at least two weeks with a strained hamstring, and Ausar Thompson with an ankle injury. The Pistons outrebounded Philadelphia 54-37 and turned 15 offensive rebounds into 24 second-chance points. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 29 points, 18 of them in the fourth quarter, while James scored 18 and Jaylen Brown 16. Philadelphia, without Joel Embiid resting after his triple-double against Milwaukee and VJ Edgecombe with an abdominal injury, fell to 3-1.
