SpaceX Posts $4.4B Profit as Q3 Revenue Jumps 161% on AI Boom

Elon Musk's SpaceX has delivered blockbuster third-quarter results, reporting revenue of $14.6 billion — up 161% from a year earlier and well above Wall Street's expectations. The company swung to a net profit of $4.4 billion from a $1.1 billion loss a year ago, and adjusted earnings hit $8.8 billion, up 306%. Shares climbed nearly 5% in after-hours trading on Tuesday.

The star of the show was SpaceX's Super Intelligence segment, its AI business, which grew an astonishing 830% to $7.56 billion and became the company's largest division for the first time — driven by cloud deals with developers like Anthropic and Google, the Cursor acquisition and growing Grok usage. Starlink added muscle too: connectivity revenue rose 69% to $5.25 billion with 13.6 million subscribers. The results, only the company's second since its June IPO, are the strongest sign yet that Musk's bet on turning SpaceX into an AI-infrastructure giant is paying off.
