The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New Orleans Saints 16-10 in the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in France, improving to 5-2 and staying near the top of the AFC North.

Pittsburgh controlled the game on the ground, rushing for 148 yards while holding New Orleans to just 18 rushing yards on 17 attempts. That gap allowed the Steelers to dictate the tempo even though their scoring output was modest. Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 30 of 38 passes for 278 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and Devaughn Vele caught a one-yard touchdown pass before half-time.

New Orleans failed to score at all in the second half and could not overcome Pittsburgh's defensive performance, falling to 2-5 heading into their bye week. The result keeps the Steelers level with Cleveland at 5-2 in the AFC North. For the NFL, completing the game was another milestone in its international expansion, even though the trip was complicated by security concerns and disruptions to several scheduled fan events. Pittsburgh now returns home with a valuable win banked from a historic trip abroad.
