World Series Game 1 Tickets Hit Record $3,107, Nearing Super Bowl Prices

Baseball fans will pay a record price to watch the 2026 World Series opener in person. The cheapest ticket to Game 1 between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field on Friday, October 23, reached $3,107 by midday Tuesday — close to Super Bowl prices.

According to TicketData.com, the get-in price briefly spiked to $3,169 on Monday night right after the Rays clinched the American League pennant. For comparison, tickets to Super Bowl LX in February settled at $3,361 before kickoff. If Game 1 prices hold, it would be the most expensive World Series game ever, topping the $1,809 record set at Wrigley Field in 2016.

The matchup guarantees a first-time champion: the Brewers (103-59, baseball's best record) earned home-field advantage over the Rays (98-64). Game 2 tickets are at $2,748, while Games 3 to 5 in St. Petersburg are far cheaper, starting around $766.
